The Great Goddess manifests in many different ways, both great and small. Most people can admire her in a colourful butterfly perched on a bright flower... but if you look closely, you will also perceive the Goddess' subtle touch in the wings of the butterflies of the night... ignored and often feared, these small miracles of nature are in fact truely beautiful in their own right.

This is my entry for the mosaic challenge "butterflies" - it won first place in the juried challenge and the online voting.
